Feb 9 10 11 What Are Your Weekend Hair Plans?

Last night:
Sprayed cornrolls with AVJ
Sealed with shea butter mix
Baggyed over night and today under my wig while I'm at work.

I want to make a DC with an aloe vera leaf so if I can acquire one this weekend, I'll take my cornrolls out (even tho I just got them redone this past Monday) to wash, DC w/ aloe and oils, and rinse with some rice water.

I'll be back to update....
 
I’m taking down taking down my box braids and do a strengthening treatment since I’ve had them in for 3 weeks and I’m officially starting the CurlyProverbz Challenge

-Rhassoul Clay Wash
-Kinky Curly Stiller Strands + Belle Bar Avocado Mask
-??? Wash n Go or twists to wear under a wig.
 
I am going to take a stroll down Main St. to the nearest hood style Beauty Mart to grab some Proteina De Perla. upload_2018-2-9_12-11-35.jpeg.

Then I come back home and inhale it (literally) that stuff smell so good. I haven't had any since my relaxed days. Let's see what it does for me these days. Not that I need any help at all.
 
I have been sick with the flu. Going on 2 weeks now. I'm on meds but still not feeling well. My hair needs to be wash but I don't know if I have the energy to even do it. I had my hair straighten about 2 weeks ago. Only been lightly moisturizing it during the week. I have been neglecting it for a bit.

If I have the energy tomorrow I will wash it. If I do it will be a very simple wash (just shampoo, DC and then my leave-in's).
 
Pre-poo with Castor Oil and EVCO
Poo (Elasta QP)
Aphogee 2min
Con Aussie Moist... used Mizani Moisturefuze instead
Leave-in (Elasta QP)
Blow dry using tension method... Not doing this step.
Moisturize
Seal (Shea butter mixture)
Gel (Eco Style Castor and Flax)
6 cornrows

As for me, I'm still undecided on what I will be doing tomorrow. I wanted to give myself a hendigo treatment but I don't think that will happen since I didn't mix my henna this morning as I originally planned and sleep with it in my hair overnight tonight :nono:.

I do know that I want to mix something with Shea butter and Ayurvedic powders and mix it in with my deep conditioner for sure so I have to get up early to work on something nourishing for my hair.

Of course, I will be using one of my baby shampoos but just have to work on the rest of the wash day regimen :look:.
 
I will be trying aloe Vera juice for the first time.

Edit: I just tried it. My hair reacted well when I mixed it into my shampoo but it wasn't really different from using the shampoo alone. I use V05. I will just use the aloe juice for my skin. Ah well, at least it didn't end in disaster.

Second Lather, Mane Choice Halo Shampoo
Protein Treatment: Aphogee Step,1
Moisture DC: Jessicurl DC or APB Peach Hibiscus DC
Leave In/Styler: SSI Marula Hemp Hair Cream
Style: Twists for twist out as usual
 
On Friday I prepoo'd with aloe juice and coconut oil under a slap during work. I detangled last night and intended to apply an ayurvedic gloss overnight but thought my scalp needed to breathe a bit so I'll apply the gloss tonight and rinse tomorrow morning.

Scalp: CD rhassoul clay shampoo
Length: CD cleansing conditioner
DC: CD rhassoul clay mask
Twist: TGIN leave in and buttercream, redken anti snap if needed, seal with whipped butter.

I've been wearing two strand twists using the same parts since August of 2016. Whenever I need to wear my hair out I do a twist out. I want to transition to simple yet polished twist styles so I can be cute without added manipulation. I received a lot of compliments when I wore it so I thought I'd revisit this one:

DC: EBW Monoi and Jojoba Natural DC
Komaza Coconut Curl Damage Control leave in
Komaza Califia Moisturizing Cream
use some kind of grease on top of that

Plait my hair and wear head wraps all week

I used APB Refresher Spray and Peach Hibiscus Hair and Body Butta to style and APB Peach Hibiscus Conditioning Mask
