After buying my tickets to the all star game in July of last year friday morning I find out that my flight was cancelled. So being home this weekend I decided to do a sew in. Went to the beauty supply and got some basic Milky way hair a 10 & 12' inch pack. Put my hair in about 8 braids to the back and got to sewing. I like it is has a lot of bounce so hopefully it last me a good 5 weeks.

HHG!

It's beautiful!! You did a great job.

I'm so tempted to try this myself. I really enjoyed my last sew in but my stylist refuses to use a believable amount of hair. She makes it too full :nono:

The fullness of yours is perfect and so realistic looking.

Thanks!

You know what I make it a bit closer up top and only a few tracks in the back b/c that is where the weave mattes up the most. I really like it andd people think that it is real. Plus the hair was only 29 and 19 bucks a pack.

Very nice. I am in awe of people who can do your own hair like that. That takes some talent.

You did a very good job. Is this the first time you did your own hair?

How many tracks did you end up using and how much of your hair did you leave out? It looks fab. Sorry about your cancelled flight.

I would like to know how much hair you left out too.

Very nice and natural-looking! You did a great job! :)

Thanks Ladies...I used a pack and a half. I only left out about maybe a 2-inch area on the crown like the horse shoe area. I will take a pic later.

You did an excellent job! It looks just like yours. I wish I had skills like you because I would look into getting a sew-in. Stylists use way too much hair for me and I always end up hating it.

Girl...the same thing happened to me... I bought my plane ticket to Dallas, but my flight was canceled so I sat at home and did my hair too! lol

Thanks to all the ladies....I am trying to transition and I think the sew-in will do it for me.
