When I cut out sugar I got faster hair growth. Sugar depletes minerals from the body.

My sister swears by eating pretzels that contain flax seeds. She said it made her hair thicker...she goes to the salon every two weeks and MAY wash her hair in between using dish detergent. That's it....no nothing on her hair and it is below shoulder and healthy looking.

I also heard from (I think Dr. Oz) that eating flax seeds would give you the shiny/moisturized hair of youth. It even worked on sheep.

Something about getting older we produce less sebum???Not sure, but simply look at the back of two women's hair...one over 40 and one in their 20s.(Note: this is easier to see on Caucasian hair). I never noticed it before hearing Dr. Oz talk about it, but now I can approximate the age by simply looking at hair. Over 40s is usually drier and more frizzy while the 20s is shiny and oilier.
