Hi everyone!
I need your input- again...what is the proper use of oil? I thought the purpose of oil was to seal in moisture.
So before I use an oil- I should you water and/or a water based product/conditioner-right???
I don't oil my scalp usually I put Hot Six oil on the top of my hair -all over- but it does weighs my hair down.
Should oil be concentrated just on the ends?
OR should I use less oil? Is oil not meant to be used everyday ?
If not- How do you seal the moisture in your hair on a daily basis? /images/graemlins/perplexed.gif
Thanks!

I use mine on wet hair. I use it between shampooing or rinsing(when my hair feels dry) by first using a water based mositurizer.

I use it as a leave-in/styling products on dripping wet hair.

1)It does seal in moisture

2)and at the same time protects the hair from tear/wear (by simply laying on top of the hair thereby protecting the hair itself from rubbing/friction)

3)and finally it helps the hair being more flexible thus less breakable.
