Actually, I knew those photos where off kilter because of the different skin tones and noses and just all wrong like the rest of her shananagans. The 100% Sulfur, then different changes to what kind of sulfer power vs liquid. First she stated that she had not used it then answering someone else's post she said she did. Then she kept changing the original post to suit her fibs. She came back in posing as someone else with pictures, only to be caught with the same misspelling; "bountless" of the Boundless Tresses in both posts of both the OP and the elusive Newbie. Lawd we're too old for this.

exaclty its all game. i dont know why someone would try to burn someone elses progress and they know how much we care for our hair. and im mad she spent 13 dollars on two accounts everything just sounds weird. and when she talked about her brothers relaxer she said she had a convo with him and she told him no this isnt my growth aid etc. i hope shes not pretending to be deaf because things like this arent funny at all

I already tried to place an order but the vendor only used google check out and I don't have an account with them. So I was going to call local pharmacist instead.... I WAS ABOUT TO ORDER A POUND OF 99.09% SULFUR. I figured I'd make a batch for each one of my sisters.

That's why I say to put up some kind of bulletin. I was hoping the Moderators would keep the thread up or leave a sticky stating that there was a problem with that recipe. Trust me there will be others looking to get clarity on that recipe. That's what happened to me. I saw the thread and I think it was up for a few days but I ignored it till yesterday then only read the first few posts. I went to DC my hair came back to copy the recipe and she had deleted her initial post. I asked what happend, I was informed through the ladies then I read the entire thread and I was like WOW.

At least you saved money. And I know nothing about sulfer not to say I was going to actually try the recipe but I was willing to learn more about it.

Girl I feel you. I know you didn't honestly know what happened and that's why my first post was short and brief. I wasn't trying to be funny or anything. I am rarely on this board so it just so happens I saw the orginal thread yesterday. As far as I knew, she cleared it up and all was well. But I guess when she came back, it went downhill. I do wish her the best though. Q

Anyway, I just thought I'd see if anyone actually knew from firsthand experience. And yes, the smell is unbearable!

I used a lot...I don't measure...erplexed It was diluted in oils and mixed with herbs. I made a huge batch which I ended up throwing away...

If I understand it right, it is the concentration of that sulfur that can cause damage, like 5% is okay, between 5 and 7% may cause a reaction, and going over 9 or 10 will surely cause one.

I think it depends on how much is used. A little should be ok but the recipe stated to use 1/2 cup of 100% sulfur. The OP had made the correction but it was unclear as to weither she actually had results from using it, if she used it and all the other drama that came with it.

Very true...
I don't remember what her mixture stated and how much of the other ingredients would have been in there....Assuming someone were to make a large enough batch 1/2 may not harm...
