I started using heat with my prepoo (got that from Sareca and Macherie) which i really like - i lose less hair with my shampoo. i still use heat to DC? Is this overkill? does anyone else do this with good results?

Yes, I get great results.

Don't know for sure, but I can't see how it would harm since the heat is just opening the cuticle so that what ever treatment you are using has an opportunity to really penetrate the hair and work. :yep:

Ok, so let me get this right...

- prepoo with heat (so im thinking some oils or whatever under heat for about 10 to 20 mins)
- then wash/poo
- then DC with heat for about 30 to 60 mins
- then rinse

Is that the method?

Apologies for my confusion.

Yes :yep: but when I poo, I only lather 1x (to retain some of the moisture). I've been getting good results as well.

Yup, minus the 'poo' for me

Yes, that's it exactly. Also, if it's a protein reconstructor with heat, then i use a moisturising cond after that without heat

thanks everyone. I feel more comfortable doing this now. I do have a tendency to overdo when something works and then it stops working
