Heavy moisturizer (Keracare?)

When I had a relaxer, I used to use Keracare creme hairdress for my ends and as a heat protectant. It really was awesome with keeping my hair moisturized and with shine. Helped me nurse my hair back to health.

I am now natural (Since 03), and I am looking for something to moisturize my ends after washing. They are very dry, and I have to use something heavy on them for them to be moisturized properly until next wash.

I know it has some no nos, but has anybody used this? What was your experience?

Jane Carter Solution has some great moisturizers and also Giovanni direct is a great one too. I like the smell and consistency a little better on Giovanni but they both work really well. HHG. Aveda also has a creamy moisturizer that smells great ( i just cant think of the name right now). Its on their brilliant line.

I use to use it and really liked it. But I can't remember why I stopped. I think it was just to heavy for me.
