I'm natural, and I've been using Herbal Essence Triple Conditioning Intensive Blends. It makes my hair super soft, and it's cheap. 2-3 dollars at the most. I also use it as a leave in if I mix it with water. Works great for me.

I am natural and I wash my hair twice a week and use UBH conditioner. For a leave in - which I apply to wet hair - I use Dew or a choice of these oils (sometimes mixed with essential oils): jojoba, avocado or coconut. These oils are penetrating so don't just sit on your hair. Before I knew about UBH, Pantene Smooth and Sleek worked for me. So did any of the Nexxus conditioners. If your hair is very dry, you might benefit from deep conditioning with a moisturizing conditioner (ie wear a plastic cap and go under a dryer or sit out in the sun or wrap your head with a warm towel) -- whatever it takes to get your hair warm so it absorbs the conditioner. If you've never tried a serum, try to use it on your hair when it's soaking wet. The serum will lock in the moisture. Some people like 'em, some don't. You won't know which you are until you try them. Also some people do better with creams while others do better with oils. Have you tried applying moisturizer to your hair at night and going to bed in a plastic cap or Saran wrap?

Hey ladies! I'm new on the board and this is my first post.

I'm natural too, since december 2002, and I just wanted to add that hair masks are also very moisturizing, with oils (carapate, olive, avocado, coconut, carrot, apricot, almond), honey, or mayonnaise.

Here is my favourite honey recipe:mix 1/4 cup of honey with 1/2 cup of olive oil; add the juice of 1/4 of lemon.
Apply the mask & keep it at least 30mn. Rince, shampoo and condition.
For the mayonnaise: mix 1 tablespoon of honey with 2 yolks and the oil of your choice (personally, I like avocado, carapate, coconut and olive oil); add the oil until it will got the consistency of a mayonnaise.
Apply on the hair and keep it as long as possible; rince, shampoo and condition.

For both masks, wrap your hair in a head plastic or in a hot wet towel.

i'm not sure what hair type you are or if this can be of any help, but i have found that carols daughter healthy hair butter works miracles on dry hair. my roots were dry at one point and this stuff solved the problem. i also found that joico kerapro conditioning shampoo and the k-pax conditioner and leave in conditioner work well also. the leave in has leaves some sort of "protectant" on your hair so that when you heat or air dry it isn't too dry or unmanageable.

like i stated early i'm not sure if this is of any help cause i am still transitioning but i am half way done and i think the HHB helped the most

I'm natural and the products I use consistently (now) are:

Back to Basics Raspberry and Almond Intense Conditioner (Deep)
BBD Stretch (Deep and expensive)
Vitale Reconstructor (Deep and somewhat expensive)

Daily Conditioning I use:

Paul Mitchell Detangler
Kenra Color Maintenance Conditioner
Back to Basics Green Tea Moisturizing Conditioner

For a really cheap daily conditioner (I've heard it;s good but have never used it ) is Daily Defense.

I use ABBA Nourishing Leave-In , but it contains protein so if your hair doesn't like protein, leave in alone.

Lyricurls... Thank you so much for posting a honey recipe. I have been hoping someone would respond to my request on the "Humectant" thread for a honey recipe. I'll be sure to give these recipes a try. Thanks again.
