Ok, My best friend's sis in law just turned 13. She is about to start wearing her real hair and I know she likes to wear it straight alot and I am going to tell her that flat ironing her hair every day at 450 degrees is just not a possibility. I wanna help her with her styles and give her some nice direct heat free style possibilities that will be easy for her to maintain. She's relaxed BTW... And she is not an average 13 year old so they have to be cute or she will not even listen to me.

Can you ladies please tell me some good hair styles that I can show her so that all of her beautiful hair doesnt fall out?? I wanna help her grow her hair out too.

Send her the link to our forum or show her yourself. Ask her suggestion on a hairstyle you think would be nice for yourself, but its really for her. Get her to view the site with you. I hope that helps

If she's relaxed, rollersetting would be a really good option. That should get her hair straight and all she'd have to do is pincurl or wrap at night.

i agree with this-one of my younger cousins (she's relaxed as well) does this, and her hair is doing quite well with it. her mom washes and rollersets her hair once a week, and the rest of time she wraps or puts it on soft rollers.

I guess I can try to rollerset her hair. I used to do mine but it took so long that I hated it. But I will probably be able to do it faster on someone else's hair. I can also do ponytail rollersets.
