Hi Ladies,
I'm trying to get a successful regimen for my natural hair and I have to takedown my weave this weekend
erplexed. I usually go to the salon to do this but want to do this myself and need some help. I would like to use as many products that I already have and understand I may need to purchase a few suggested. I think I need to do a DC protein treatment and then a moisturizing DC but I'm not so sure which ones fall into the category. Please help! Here's what I plan to do so far:
1) Spray braids with Creme of Nature Argan Oil Strength & Shine Leave In Conditioner
2) Take out Braids and Separate hair into Sections
3)Apply Kinky Curly Knot Today to each section & detangle by section (have to purchase)
4)ACV rinse for scalp by section (have to purchase Braggs ACV)
5)Shampoo in sections using Creme of Nature Argan Oil Moisture & Shine Shampoo
6) Apply Protein Treatment in sections (how long should I do this)
7) Apply Moisture Conditioner (how long should I do this)
The conditioners I have are:
Creme of Nature Argan Oil Intensive Conditioning Treatment
Shea Moisture Yucca & Baobab Anti Breakage Masque
I also have Jamaican Black Castor Oil
Thanks in advance!

Ditch the leave in spray. Unnecessary step. I own it and it doesn't detangle. Find your favorite oil/HOT treatment. Drench the braids and I mean drench! Unravel braids and detangle each one as you go. Then before you wash detangle again! Sounds like overkill but it's nothing worse than having to detangle wet tangled hair so get as much out as you can now. When coming out of a sew in I usually comb by braid then quadrants then halves and I run the comb through my head one last time. Next you will want to wash with a moisturizing shampoo, protein treatment, and follow up with your deep conditioner.

. I soaked my hair with oil (olive oil), took out the braids, detangled, applied Vo5 moisturizing conditioner and detangled again. I put my hair in about 8 twists, put a shower cap on and I'm going to bed. I hope it's ok to leave this conditioner and oil on overnight. Tomorrow I will start the washing and conditioning process. How long should I keep in the protein treatment? I will be adding egg to my conditioner as suggested by
