Henna and Highlights

I want to dye my hair with indigo but i want some light brown streaks. After i do it with the indigo, do i have to bleach my highlights to strip the color? Also, has anyone ever done this? Any experiences?

I'm not too sure, but I would consult a beautician. For me, when I henn or should I say the reason I henna is because it makes my gray hair look reddish....like highlights. Even though I'm having my own henna gloss issue as we speak. LOL But I'm no quitter.
