Never mind. I found a great Indian grocer named Dula tucked away in the east village. The store is located at the intersection of 1st Ave and 6th Street on 1st ave. The sign is red with yellow or white letters and the store is right next to a row of Indian restaurants.
The prices are reasonable, too. For example one of the packages I purchased contains 200grams and costs $3.00. It is 100% pure and BAQ.
