FALL HIDE YOUR HAIR CHALLENGE AUG 15TH-DEC 31ST 2008

WOW, I haven't seen a thread to begin a HIDE YOUR HAIR CHALLENGE :blush:
Is anyone is up to start today August 15, 2008 until December 31, 2008?

If so, I need someone to co-manage the challenge b/c I will be a little busy this fall and may need a co-captain. :yep: Thanks lexi84

RULES:
Keep hair hidden from everyone {yourself,family,friends,co-workers,DH,SO}
Wear protective styles that hide hair length
No more than 3 passes that show your length
DO NOT upload new pictures to your fotki, if you do lock the album
At the end of challenge we will show our before and after photo

This challenge sounds interesting! What are the rules?
 
I've been hiding my hair almost a month now and I plan on doing so til December I don't know about the very end but yeah I can join in lol
 
I been doing something like this on my own the whole summer, so why not continue it the rest of the year. I love bunning, and only wear my hair out the first 2 days after a wash and set, or relaxer touch-up.

What's the rules?
 
Yep, I feel like I HAVE to hide my hair in this cold/harsh OHIO fall-winter weather.

I'll be doing it from the end of August-Spring.
 
Girl!!!!!!!! You stole my idea! :grin: I was surely going start a challenge just like this. I'm so in.

Oh and by the way I love your hair. I think we're hair twins. My hair grows the exact same way as yours. Don't you flat iron weekly? Is it going to be hard for you to hide it until December?

Oh and if you want me to I can co-manage for you.
 
Ok I'm in. I've been doing the phony pony thing throughout the week. But I need to know the rules, I need structure in my life LOL
 
I suck at group challenges so I'm gonna do something similar on my own. I'll be watching you ladies! Good luck!
 
Getting micro braids soon, I haven't been able to retain length becaue I still have a TWA and can't braid and I keep getting these aggravating single strand knots.

I may join, but sometimes I'm low on funds and can't afford to keep getting braids, so we'll see.
Like Daephae said, I suck at challenges to but I will keep up with this thread!
 
Ok ladies we're on a role... :yep: I already started hiding my hair this past Sunday.. I'll be entering the names of the challengers in a few minutes..:woohoo:
 
I would like to join this:look::look:, but how? have a TWA which I blowdry every so often to show length, so would wearing a shrunken TWA qualify (as a hiding style)?
 
I just posted pictures I took over the weekend. I will join this challenge!!!! I LOVE HYH. I will do it IRL also. :) People were amazed when I wore my hair down this weekend. For all of two days. LOL.

I'd love to join, but I have to figure out how to do protective styles on my hair. I am overwhelmed right now.:nono: Any ideas, anyone?:ohwell:
 
Ladies who are sporting the adorable TWA's can get braids, twist, or (my favorite) a plastic cap and a selection of beautiful scarfs wrapped in creative ways. I treat my hair, baggy, and wrap my head with one of my head scarves. Last week I found fabric from India on sell at the local fabric store. I will take pics and post. I loooooove HYH.:grin: Just to give you some ideas. Most people forget that I have hair because they NEVER see it down.
 
I'm in, I just actually put kinky twists in my hair last week and I dont actually plan on wearing my hair out until Christmas. So I'm definitely in! I'm so excited my first challenge. lol
