Put me in the mix please! I'm going with bunning and phony pony/baggy as my protective styles. This will be a great challenge for me as I'm due to touch up in around that time anyway.

I'm in - I've been a part of this discussion board for a very long time now and mostly, I just browse through other people's albums and marvel at all of the progress. I never really had time to post and create a fotki due to school and a little one, but this time I'm going to try my best and even if I don't post regularly, I plan on posting a before pic for this challenge and then going all the way until the beginning of April with my hair hid. I'll then post a results picture. See you guys again in April and BTW - Good Luck to everyone

can i join also?? oh and i have a question. after getting a relaxer about how long should i wait before i get my hair braided? plan to hide my hair in mirco braides. and one more question. (sorry iam a newbie). how often should i get my braides redone?? thanx in advance.

God i'm so freaked out but i'm in!! i've neva been able to keep braids for more than 3 weeks before. lets just see how it goes. hopefully u guyz will keep me motivated. my routine will be braids once evri month.

Personally I don't like micros anymore for growing hair out because I think they are too stressful on the hair, especially the hairline. If I do braid extension I do them big (check my album). However if I were to get micros I would wait until I had at least 6 weeks of new growth before braiding my hair up.

I'm in- I'm pretty sure I will be able to stick this one out - it being only 3 months and all. Right now I plan on slapping some braids in forgetting about my hair. But if I want BSL length again I will need to put some overtime in my hair when i'm ready...
