Hot Oil Treatments -- How Often?

hey ladies: on average, how often do you do a hot oil treatment? i wonder if there is such a thing as doing a hot oil treatment too much...lemme know your toughts.

I do a hot oil treatment every other week. I'm thinking of doing it weekly because of how cold and dry this winter has been.

I started doing them weekly when I joined this board in May. But then I slacked off because I felt that my hair didnt need them or benefit from them so much. Now that the weather is cold, I have started again weekly and they really help with retaining moisture in my hair.

I haven't been doing them at all. The last time I washed my hair, I saturated my ends in oil and that's it. I need to get on the ball!
