I usually like to DC overnight and then rinse out in the a.m . . . but when I do this I can't baggie and given the colder weather, I think that baggying is more important than ever. So, I'm starting to DC for 20 mintues at night (no heat), wash, baggie overnight (just my ends), and then go . . . .

Just wondering what folks do.

I deep condition for 20-30 minutes under my conair dryer with keracare humecto. Lately I have been baggying my ends overnight with moisturizer then coated with good old fashion grease. This has definately helped keep my hair and ends moist from the harsh weather.

I deep condition my hair for thirty minutes with heat, then I let it sit for an additional thirty minutes without heat.

I deep condition for about 20 minutes with heat...

Depends...fresh relaxer 15 to 20 max...but stretching...Overnight is needed!:yep:

i usually do it overnight
but since i successfully replenished the moisture in my hair recently...
lately, i've only been doing it for a few hours

i'll probably start doing it overnight again
now that i'm in protectives
because i wont be washing as often
so i'll need the extra moisture.

i want to try using saran wrap for my deep conditions

i DC for 20 minutes with heat on dry hair...

Most of the time I DC for 15 min with heat. But sometimes, depending on how dry my hair is, I will DC overnight.

I deep condition 20 mins using conditioning heat cap

I mostly deep condition with heat from either the heating cap or hair dryer,
When I do an oil treatment like Vatika oil I do that overnight.I think deep conditioning is the holy grail for my hair

Between 30-60 mins and always with heat.

I deep condition sometimes on dry hair with heat for 20 to 30 minutes

other times Ill do it the regular way after washing, also with heat

sometimes I get lazy with conditioner in my hair and lose the inspiration to do my hair that day so Ill put it in a ponytail or something and wash it out the next day lol.

Sometimes 30 min no heat just plastic cap
Sometimes 30 minutes under a dryer

Depends on whether my hair is breaking or not

I deep condition 20-30 minutes with heat twice wkly.

I DC with a heating cap for 20 minutes.

Sometimes I deep condition for 20+ minutes without heat, but I get the best results when I do so with heat under my hooded dryer. The heat helps the conditioner penetrate the hair shaft more deeply.

My hair is as soft as velvet when I use the heat. I tend to cut down on that during the summer, only doing once or twice a month instead of with every shampoo.

I either do 30 minutes with a plastic cap under the dryer or, if I have a lot of housework, I'll use my gold body heat cap with a winter hat on top and wear that around the house for hours.

I'm gonna say that it depends on what I have time for. Ideally, I like to do 30 minute DCs under a warm dryer. But, if I'm pressed for time, I will DC on dry hair and wrap in a warm towel for like 10 minutes. I would sooner cut down on the length of my DC than cut out the heat because I feel like I'm getting a more intense treatment when I use heat.

I like to get really deeeep when I deep conditioner. So I sit undder the dryer for at least 60 minutes especially in the winter time. :)

I deep condition on for at least an hour. I do not use heat. I put on a plastic cap and work around the house or take a nap. If I am taking a nap I obviously am not watching the clock so I let it go for 2 hours or more.

DANG!!! that's a lot of minutes

I either sit under the dryer for about 15-20 minutes or I let the dc sit on my head for about an hour with a plastic bag and a warmed towel (reheated every 15 mins) and run house errands.

20-30 min under heat cap or hooded dryer.
Jojoba oil, favorite condition and tablespoon MTG
Sometimes I sleep in it overnight.

I usually deep condition for 20-30 minutes with heat. Then let it sit for another 10-20 minutes without heat.

Whenever I try to condition overnight I end up with tangles and a stress headache. I don't think my hair likes this....
