Hi ladies,
How long do I have to wait before I relax again after my last relaxer didn't take? I used an old relaxer or it didn't take because I didn't leave it in long enough... Thanks for all responses...

I had this issue when I was relaxed and I waited until it was time for my next relaxer for fear of over processing. I will say that I had a texlax look in the middle of my hair for what seems like forever  wait maybe my opinion isn't valid. LOL But I would wait and if you are going to overlap the area do a protein treatment prior...which I hope you're already doing anyway...

How long do you usually wait between each relaxer?

6-8 weeks is the usual recommended time to wait in between relaxers if you wanna wait til then

I have the same issue with my bang area but I am not going to take the risk and over process my hair. It's wise to just correct it during your next touch up and in the meantime wear styles like curls that camouflage.

Thanks ladies for all your replies... I usually wait at least 5 weeks between relaxers so I guess I'll wait til next month to touch up... Thanks again

You can run the relaxer over those under processed areas about 5 minutes before you rinse on your next touch up
