How many times do you pass the flatiron through your hair??

Here's what I do:

Section off hair, pass the flatiron over hair, fan that section of hair to make it cool down, then pass it over my hair again and to make a bend.

Is this what you do? Is twice too many times to put the iron over your hair?

Only one pass on each section for me. I section off my hair in tiny tiny sections, it takes awhile for me to flat iron my head.

I only pass it through one time and I bend it at the ends during that one time. I have thick hair and this works for me.

most of the times one pass is good for me, but there are occasions when i have to pass it through twice....maybe thrice

I pass through twice sometimes as well to curl. I dont this it will hurt much..

Once. If it needs another hit I'll do it, but i make sure to stop before I get to the ends... I try to baby them
