How often do you visit a stylist?

I just go to get my relaxers about every 3 months unless I have a special occasion and want my hair styled. My hair has grown considerably since I stopped going to the hairdresser every 2 weeks.

Unless I want something special done i.e. sew in, twice a year for trims.

Never. I self-relax and I now trim my own hair with the creaclip. I use shears to touch up layers to frame my face.

I've been tempted to go. I visited a salon once in the past year and a half and immediately experienced breakage because they used a lot of heat. I might go back to the salon once I reach my hair goals, but that will be a while (probably 2 years). It is a nice treat if you have a good salon & a good stylist.

Stylist?? No thank you. Im good. Havent been to a stylist since i started lurking on this site. Thanks LHCF for showing me how uneccessary and sometimes dangerous salons could be. Now im a DIYer.

I go to get a good cut probably once a year. I may go one other time just for straightening so I don't have to spend a weekend straightening.
