How often do you wash your braids?

I've never had braids before, and I'm wondering how often you wash them? Is it more or less than you wash your hair when not braided?

Definitely more because I never had to worry about styling my hair afterwards. I would rinse my hair almost everyday and then do poo and conditioner at least once a week. I plan on doing the same thing once I get senegalese twist in the next couple of weeks.

Depending on the style I will wash my braids/twists every week. If I have cornrows I wash my hair every other day. HTH

When I wore braids I never washed them until the day I take them out to re-do them. I normally wore my braids for 2 weeks at a time cause my hair grew out so fast and it started to look un-kept by week 2.
