How do you wrap the extension hair around the hairdini or foam and secure it? The photo shows the hairdini and next it's covered...
 
I got a question: when you comb your natural hair over the donut, wouldn't your ends still be exposed or will the scrunchie cover them? How do you get your natural hair so stay combed over the donut? I'm confused LOL

Well to start I just wrapped the hair around a couple of times and then stopped and went in reverse to help secure the hair. I wrapped all the way around overlapping as I went along to make sure all surfaces were covered. When I was finished wrapping I tucked the ends under the hair.

My ends are covered by the scrunchie but someone with longer hair may need to take the extra ends and wrap them around under the scrunchie.

My ends are covered by the scrunchie but someone with longer hair may need to take the extra ends and wrap or tuck them around under the scrunchie.
 
This is amazing, you truly outdid yourself. This is also helpful so that you don't have to worry about your own hair shifting on the bun during the day leaving gaps.Thanks so much this is awesome. I just have to say that I love this donut bun look, but I have to do it loosely so that it doesn't hurt my head.

Hey Cutebajangirl. Thanks! The gaps were the main reason why I didn't use the foam thingy sooner than one day it just clicked if I can use hair for weave and extensions then why not for a bun. Looks so natural noboby will ever know. And you know those Asians sell some of every hair color and texture so anyone with any haircolor or texture can do it!

DSD,
You deserve to get paid for this. Girl, find out how and quickly get a patent and market this product! If you don't someone else will SO get to getten (slang for get going).

A couple of extra hair tips would be:

1. Pic # 9 could be a style as well (non-protective style) if the bun is secured first w/good hair day pins.

2. Longer hair could be slipped through bun and worn as an "I Dream of Jeanie" hair style after securing the bun.
 
Wow DSD, that is very good, I wish I had known that last year, I would have rocked that full bun, instead of my teeny weeny weeny bun that had bits of hair sticking out.
