I JUST DID A SEARCH AND COULD NOT FIND ANY RESULTS BUT I KNO THERE ARE TIPS AND GUIDES ON HERE.... IF ANYONE KNOWS THE LINKS OR TIPS/ ADVICE / INSTRUCTIONS PLEASE CHIME IN...THANK YOU
my little cousins texture is coarser then yours... about a 4a and I rollerset her hair using the same method as relaxed hair. Except, I use a denman brush because it stretches it out a little. Then I hold the hair really taut to stretch out the curl on the roller. Also, use a size smaller then you need for your length because it gets it smoother. Another tip, do not get lazy and start using thicker pieces. Thin pieces on the roller will give you the smoothest rollerset. Thicker pieces will come out looking kinda crazy.
girl you better get to ponytail rollersetting. i think there is a tutorial in my fotki, but that's the only way i rollerset my hair. in a nutshell, wash/DC, put your hair in ponytails, smooth out your hair with a denman or small tooth comb, then roll the hair in the ponytails. i have done this two ways: making 6-8 ponytails then using 2-3 rollers per ponytail, or by making enough smaller ponytails so that you only use one roller per ponytail. both give great results.
I roll my hair up with the satin rollers when I want a curly fro, I use 14 in 1 Hawaiian slky and shea butter or coconut oil and roll my hair or twist then roll my hair It comes out full and curly.
