HUETIFUL STEAMER HELP!

hey all, I recently bought a huetiful steamer and finally got a chance to try it today. However, I don't think it works. I'm pretty sure I set it up correctly but my steamer produces little to no steam and creates a puddle of water underneath the machine. Has any one else had this problem or do I just have a faulty steamer?

Make sure the vent at the top of the hood is closed and make sure the small cap is on the water discharge plug at the bottom of the hood. Someone else may know how to describe it better.

Did you plug up the hole in the back of the top (dome portion)? That's your problem. There is a plug attached to the base on a plastic loop.

Yeah, if you mean the one attached to the dome by the little plastic string, then yeah I closed that up.

If you didnt overfill/underfill it then I would call the help des. They have a good return policy if all else fails. Are you waiting to turn on the ozone after it boils and the seam has started?

no i didn't do that. maybe thats the problem. I turned them both on at the same time. I'll try turning on the steam button first and then the ozone
