I couldn't reveal my hair because I decided not to straighten it until my birthday april 28th. (and besides stretching you can't really see progress when you are natural)

I decided to go on the challenge after I had a setback in December 2006 when my aunt cut my hair to shoulder length instead of trimming it. We all know how that goes..

This challenge has been amazing. I thank God and it for all of my progress.

Here are the visuals from the end of December to April

Your growth rate is awesome, I love your hair that V shape gives it something I can't explain, but I love the V shape.
Congratulations!!! and stay away from those scissor happy stylist girl.

I'm not sure what flat iron my friend used to straighten my hair. I do know that it was smaller than your average sized flat iron. I will find out! :)

Wow, thank you everyone, I feel like I'm blind or have hair anorexia because I see growth but not a major increase. I wish I could pinpoint the exact amount of inches I got in 4 months.

After my cut in December I decided not to formulate a regimen but rather do what my hair told me to do. I took care of it though and left it alone in styles for weeks. I didnt flat iron it for 3 months. I tried to baggie while my hair was braided but that only lasted two weeks consistently for the month that i kept my hair braided. I changed the way I washed my hair to the crown and glory wash technique. and I ALWAYS went to bed with a scarf around my head. ALWAYS. If I remember anything else I will add.
