I am Growing my hair back out!!!

Ok I miss my hair!!! I am starting from scratch!!! I don't have any hair!!! I am starting with a faux hawk!!! I attached a pic but I have cut more of that off since then bout a half an inch all around! By next Christmas I want to have an Inverted Bob at the chin!!!

you can do it...its long and tedious...i decided to start growing my hair out since May..i stopped having it cut in the short cut...and now its reaching the bottom of my ears....but not exactly where i wouldve liked it to be by now...but oh well...and girl believe me i see alot of women with short dos and miss my short hair cut...but i remember how hard it was to keep it up too because i worked out and sometimes the curls would sweat out or the dew from the morning would make me look like i have a wet mop..

Congratulations, make sure you take lots of pictures. However, I LOVE YOUR HAIR IN THE PICTURE!!!! You make me want to cut mine off. I had a pixie cut and now I miss it again. The hubby like my hair long so I am fighting my scissor happy ways.

I will be taking my Olay Women's vitamins until they run out and shampooing every other day!!!! I will be putting Lenzi's Request on my scalp on wash day!! I will take pics every three months!! I will be using FiberGuard relaxer for sensitive scalp!!

I will be intergrating quick weaves into the program so I won't have to curl my hair! ON those weeks I will wash my hair once a week!!!

Thanks! The regimen that I have been using is in my fotki. During my grow out, I avoided using direct heat by wearing my hair spiked, flat with a headband, using satin rollers, and rollerseting using small rollers. I just stayed very consistent with these techniques and my regimen. It seems like you are very determined so I know that you will have great success!!! YOU CAN DO IT!!

Congrats on starting your new journey!! I grew my hair out from a fauxhawk (it''s now collarbone length all around) and it was VERY VERY awkward. For awhile it looked like mullet since the nape got longer while the crown, back and sides tried to catch up. It becme hard to style, and was really very frustrating. Best of luck on your journey though, I'm pretty sure you'll be way more successful at it and have an easier time than I did!
