 No i didn't, but I did cut a good 5 inches off. My hair was too thick and it was becoming hard to manage. On top of that I wanted to get rid of some of the damage that was done in May by this crazy colorist. I went to JC Penny salon in Queens and asked to have it cut to my shoulder. At first I felt the stylist too a little too much off, especially when I looked on the floor and saw all the hair she cut off, but now Im starting to like it. In a few weeks it should grow to the length I originally wanted. I havent had my hair this short since I was in grade school. My head feels alot lighter now too. Change is good. You can see some pics in my fotki.

Hey Girl you scared me for a minute there. You new cut looks great!!!! You are really pretty and I think you look good with your hair at both lengths. What made you cut your hair? I have also been thinking of getting my hair cut, when I get my next relaxer. My is not as long as yours was, its a little longer than shoulder length, and I was thinking of getting a chin length cut for a change. I am just so tired of my hair style right now. Way to go Glossy

Your hair looks great. Too bad she cut off more than you asked but you're right, it will grow back. Congrats on the new 'do.

You could have just gave that hair to me, LOL, it looks really nice on ya, this is the same stlye I have now except mine has a little layer to it. I love this style. It's short but not too short, ENJOY!;)

Your hair looks great! After being natural for 5 years and also cutting off about 5 inches, your haircut inspired me to get a relaxer and new do! I have an appointment in 2 weeks to get a relaxer and a nice cut. :)

That's a beautiful cut that frames your beautiful face nicely! Such a pretty color, too. :) As you said, it will be long again before you know it if you still plan to grow it out, so do enjoy this style while it lasts!

I've had my hair cut that length a couple of times and really enjoyed it, though it was a shock the first time. It had a very nice and distinct kind of 'swing' to it at that length since my shoulders and back didn't get it the way of the movement. :yep:

Oh My God:eek: I love it!!!!... I wish hair the length I have it now looks as good as your short cut looks:confused: Your hair looks good on you short or long I really love it!!! i'm so jealous!
