Chile please! This looks good - it takes a wise woman to know who to use for which sercvice! You found a specialist in each field and probably saved a good $80...

Beautiful!

Thank U chicas!...:love5:

Thank U Momi! and you're right...I'm so paranoid about having people in my head. I spent 3 weeks surfing Youtube and BHM getting weaving tips. And my braider is a lady who braids my niece's hair all the time; And the lady at Supercuts (white chick) is the lady who cuts my son's hair; my son has type 3 hair, so I knew she was familiar with a loose curly-type hair texture. She layered it very nicely. You can really see the layering after its been flat-ironed.

I think it looks really nice.

It also looks natural, like it could all be yours and that's the sign of a good weave.

Happy Growing!!! Can't wait t see that WSL hair in February.

Ladies thank you sooooooooooooo much!:yep:

For 6 weeks, then take it out, shampoo, DC, re braid and re-weave. I'm gonna do this schedule until the end of February.
your hair looks great and you are in fantastic shape girl! Happy growing:yep:

You look really good with the hair....

Someone braided your hair for you and then you sewed in the hair?

i am considering this method as well, i dont wanna spend anymore on the hair.

Awwwww thank u FinallyFree, BNG87, Bluediamond, and SavvySistah!:love5:

Thank U! The lady who braids my neice's hair did it for me. And I did weeks of surfing youtube for hair weaving tutorials. So I felt comfortable installing the hair myself.

Thank U CK! I know... it's so hard finding people who really care about the health of your hair. That's why I was determined to learn how to do it myself.

Shoot, you make me wanna get a weave!!! :lachen:

I'm impressed you sewed it in yourself!!

Thank U SAL! I've had it a week and so far so good.
I can't lie, it feels so good to take a break from my real hair!
So ladies, if I have ever made a stupid comment about wearing a weave, I sincerely apologize...I spoke out of ignorance.:spinning:

Thank U Nichelle02, Country Gal, Wannabelong, JetBlackHair, Ayjacks, Glam.

Not sure what you're insecure about. I  it!!

Thank U! I guess because I see so many bad weaves, and because of a lot of the snarly comments people in general say about black women and hair weaves.
I would always say to myself...I'm never getting a weave job. And now look at me, all weaved up and happy.

GIVE ME A BREAK PINKSKATES!!!!!!! ITS BEAUTIFUL!!! BETTER BRING THAT CONFIDENCE UP WETHER ITS UR HAIR OR NOT ITS HOT!!!!

If it makes you feel any less insecure, I thought your hair in the first pic was the weave! I was like, "Wow, where did she get that hair, it looks amazing!"

I thought it was her hair in the first pic too! Pinkskates you don't have anything to be insecure about. It looks beautiful! :yep:

It looks awesome. It actually looks like it's your real hair. If you hadn't have said it was a weave I would have thought it was your real hair.

Thank U Mrshicks2002, Casarela, Tanisha77, Mistee11, Muffin:kiss:

i love your hair and the sew in:grin:

Thank U seximami... I bought the one-piece from a dance shop about 6 years ago. And I started to throw it away a couple of years ago, but decided to re-invent it by adding rhinestones. And after that I fell in love with it again.

Well dang Pink, you got it goin on! The weave looks so real, you did a really good job. You have nothing to be insecure about, I'm sure people look at you and don't even bat an eyelash. Weave on mama!
