I got my hair straightened!

I must say I love my beautician. I've been with her off and on for 7 years. When I was relaxed she took care of my hair. Never had to hear her mouth about my hair's length or thickness. Never tried to convince me to trim or cut...matter of fact, when I used to request her to trim my ends, I would get mad b/c the shears and the floor would be clean:lachen: I would be like, 'girl, did you trim my ends like I asked?' Anyway, she pressed my hair today and for only THIRTY DOLLARS!!!! She did a good job. Now the pic below doesn't show the good job b/c I have been ripping and running all day so my curls have fallen and it's a little bit frizzy, but it still looks good.

I must say my hair has thrived so much and it still looks long after my recent cut!!! Go low manipulation and greasing the scalp! And yes, that is my beloved Conair Pro Rolling Hair Dryer in the background.

Were you shocked after she finished, or did you pretty much guess what it would look like and how long it would be?
 
Why did I jump up & down in my seat when I read the title of this thread while clicking it? I caught myself & did this :look:. LOL.

Anyway, your hair looks beautiful! .... of course!
 
Wow, I think it does look fake!!!

No seriously, your hair is beautiful! I hope my hair looks like that in about two years :grin:

Actually, no I wasn't shocked at the actual length, but I thought that it was going to be terribly uneven after I cut it last month. Plus, this time around my ends straightened much better than before. She told me that my press was easy this time and I think it's b/c I used Oil Sheen in a Jar by Lisa Akbari. It has mink oil in it.
 
Very Pretty! Your color isnt as bright as I thought it was.I cant wait to get my hair straightened again. I had to cancel my Dec appt:sad:
