This sound really good. You HAVE to post a review on this!

Gurl, I know! I love Whole Foods too but they are expensive. I'm always like "oh wow" at the register

I have a mini Whole Foods store in my hood it's great! Much cheaper and high quality foods :yep:

That has only happened to me the first time I went to WholeFoods..
I went in wandered around, pick up a few things, got to the register and she told me my total was 50 some odd dollars..
And some of the stuff I only used once..
So I am very cautious when I go in there.. Only problem now they are building a whole Foods right down the street from my house...

So they have hair products in there? Uh-oh....it's on now! There's one in my area but I never knew they had anything other than food.

Just be prepared to overspend. It just cannot be helped. There will be nothing you can do. Nothing. :nono:
Oh gosh:spinning:. I'm definitely taking a trip there soon. Are the products really expensive? I'm mad that the site dosen't have pictures and prices. As soon as I saw this thread I went to the site to prepare for the madness.:lachen::wallbash:

Atlanta ladies, Sevananda has all the whole foods and organic products at a MUCH cheaper price. I couldn't believe I had been sleeping on this gem.

ohhh, thanks for the link. they offer online shopping!

I thought about something last night. On the 1st of every month I'm going to buy a $200 giftcard from Whole Foods. Once it's spent that's it. If I have money left on the card by the end of the month, I'll add to it to make $200.

JLove, I understand completely!

I go in for ONE THING, and leave with about 100 dollars worth of stuff...I'm like, wait, what just happened here?! :lachen:

It's like I blacked out and had some sort of "shopping seizure"!

BTW, that shampoo sounds pretty good...but I'm not going back to the store.

:look:

Alright, I'll go tomorrow.

Exactly!!!! I have to run in there this evening for something........I'll be praying for strength as I go past the product aisle!

JLove, good idea. Another is to just take a set amount of cash and leave your plastic at home. Try your best not to come up short at the check out! :look:

Guuuuurl I think it is a new product to Whole Foods so it will be on sale. So you will just have it in your grocery bag with your other stuff. He will not know the difference.

I get everything sent to work that way my SO never sees the box.

I am glad I am not the only one the gets the Whole Foods sucker when walking in the door because at the checkout the cashier is saying sucker give me all your money.

you're very right, it's a new product and it's on sale for $7.

Note to PrincessScorpion - do no blame me for any of your PJism if you go to Whole Foods this weekend

That's funny...I've been passing by a Whole Foods market and didn't feel the need to go inside...till now :look:

Darn, and I just got paid this week!!! :wallbash:

:nono: He KNOWS I don't go to Whole Foods, because I call it Whole Paycheck (and I'm cheap) - and I can't send HIM, cuz he's a chef, and girl, it would end up being Two Whole Paychecks if I let him loose in there..... :lachen: I'mma just add this to my list of things I need to try when I get tired of what I'm using now... ;)

Uh-oh, watch out! The only thing that really saves me is that my two closest Whole Foods are 30 minutes away, in opposite directions. If there was one in my neighborhood it would be curtains for me!

Unlike most of you ladies, I haven't really tried many of their hair products. I'm actually a sucker for the food.:yep:

:nono: I call them Whole Paycheck...... it's the only way to have the right mindset about going shopping in there!
I know that's right!!! :lachen: I only go into that daggone store when I absolutely have to.

The last time was 2wks ago for coconut oil. I should got out of there for $15. Instead I was $57 and some change:wallbash:

I just started picking up stuff..... That store.....SMH

ETA: Oddly enough, I don't have this problem in Trader Joes at all. I can get in and out of there for like $20 everytime, $40 tops....

Lucky you...the only think that seperates me from a Wholes Food is a Shoe Maina store (and that don`t help none). As soon as i step out the door from my office building and make a left there is a WF calling my name.

I used to go to Sevananda (about three minutes from my house) and Return to Eden before they put a Whole Food one minute away from my house. They put a Trader Joe's two minutes from my house, but I do not go there much. The thing with going to Sevananda is those folks do not want to let you out the parking lot on Moreland Avenue. They just will not stop and let you turn.

Gurl as my grandmother says " tell the truth and shame the devil". You are going to be in Whole Foods before you use up your other products. I know because I will be in there this weekend. :spinning::yep::look:

I said I would be tired of using them, not that they would be GONE. :look:

You know I ain't right.

Whole Foods is like 30 minutes from home and work though, and rather out of the way, so, that'll hold me back....... for a while.

:lachen:

I've never tried the hair lotion and shampoo but I certainly know the feeling of coming out of WF with no money left.

When I go in there now, either I won't get a basket, only buy what I can carry or I get the small basket just to buy vegetables

I am addicted to that place! Everytime I go to the states I have to find a Whole Foods. I've even been known to get in a cab to go there from the hotel I'm staying.

Everything in there is just soooo good!

They are still laying the foundation so I have time to build up some more tolerance..

Sho you right!! :lachen:

And what kills me is that they are supposed to build one across the parking lot from my job... I know I will have to just break down and get a part time job there to support my obsession!! :)

At least 5 items = $100.00 (anyday)

I wrote down my list, checked it twice. I estimated that I'd spend about $40. Next thing I know, I spend $97.42:wallbash:

I don't know about ya'll but I try my best to go in and out with only the things that are on my list. Whole Foods is like crack to PJs. You pick up, start reading labels and the next thing you know - the basket is full.

Doing this thread because I wanted to know if anyone has tried:
Alaffia Shea and Coconut hair lotion or shampoo

But really, I love Whole Foods:yep:

My budget just for myself (snacks and fun stuff to eat during the week) is $80 bucks, but it always seems like I didn't get much for the money. Last week I got 3 shrimp cakes, 3 salmon cakes, organic corn chips, 2 bags of whole grain chip, dip, mushroom soup, mangoes, fresh mixed berries, chicken salad, 1 turkey burger patty and drinks.
