I wash my hair with Wen Cleanser, I use Sabino Loc as a serum and I use camilia oil to moisturize.

My hair is doing well....

My frizz is decreasing and I am getting compliments on my hair.

I know eventually I will have to clarify, but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

Coffee I know you use Wen. Do you use it exclusively? If so, how often do you clarify and with what product?

I was thinking Dr. Bronners...

Respectable! I think less is more and so long as your hair is getting what it needs and thriving you don't need a ton of products :)

I got same sample of Wen. I used it once and liked it. I'm thinking about buying a bottle. I recently suffered a setback and my hair is a little thinner than usually but after I use the Wen, I couldn't tell it was thinner.

I don't use WEN exclusively......not yet anyway. I use a product by Ojon to clarify. It's called "Ojon Detox Recovery Cleanser".

This regimen is still working PHENOMENALLY for me.

I just added a hair spray for styling. I bounce between Sebastian and Kenra hair sprays.

I'm looking into protein naturalTAN but I don't want to do anything to mess up my flow. When I went for my last relaxer, my stylist said my hair grew alot and felt amazing.

Fine Haired ladies in search of an uber simple regimen this may be it!

I love it!

Last week I was soaking in an alkaline bath. I decided to wash my hair. I wet my hair w/ the tub water, put in my Wen and continued to soak.

When I was done soaking, I drained the tubwater stood up finished the hair washing process, so easy. I only use the Wen ONCE now. When I started I used it twice. The key is just leaving it in there per the instructions.

Yay for minimalist routines!
I use water (as moisturiser) +shea butter/castor oil (as sealant) for twists/braids/roller sets

or water (as moisturiser)+gel + Sweet almond oil (to reduce crunchiness) for wash and goes/flexi rod sets

I'm glad this is still working for you. I have very fine strands as well and I cannot get away without using some kind of protein weekly. I tried doing every two weeks to once a month and my hair broke something fierce!

vevster So you always wear your hair down? No moisturizing in between washes?

I feel and see if my hair needs it. This week it needed very little.

I wore my hair down all this week. I'm trying to wear it down more and more.

The next step for me is to get some satin pillow cases.

For me it isn't necessarily the small number of products just the quickness that I can wash my hair! So fast! No getting in and out of the shower! No pre poo!

Still loving my hair noticed a lot of shedding in the last wash. Prolly time to do a light protein treatment.

That's fabulous! Do you follow a KISS regimen?

My last few months as a relaxed head, I used a spray bottle of water, tea tree oil, and a smoothing serum. My hair felt great but the tea tree made it stank (lol) As a natural, I'm down to five ... well, six products counting my occasional DC.

Sent from my VM670 using VM670

My hair behaves a lot like yours. When it needs protein, shedding increases. I've mentioned this before on here and people have tried to convince me it's breakage even though there are white bulbs on the majority of the strands.

I've always thought simple reggies workl the best.

A) less messing with the hair
B) easier to pin point what works/doesnt work
C) ease of reggie= more likely to keep up with it.
