I've never gotten breakage from using scrunchies for my buns. I also use Good Hair Days Pins, and they work great for me.

I 2nd that motion on the Good Days Hair Pins. I use them everytime I bun with no problems. :yep:

What kind of scrunchies are you using? Cotton? Satin?

I use scrunchies for my buns with no breakage. But I always re-coat the base of my bun with coconut oil so there's good slip there. When you pin up your bun it will stay secure...Also, some folks dip their scrunchies in oil for slip.
