and I think I like the Sidr Tree better. I'm going to keep using the heavy cream for a few more weeks before I decide. Has anyone else tried both and prefer one over the other?

i wanted to give that (Sidr tree) a try. I never tired it. I have the Alma and Olive Cream and I am not turning flips over it.:ohwell:

I've never tried the Sidr butter. What do you like about it?

it made my hair feel and look very moisturized without being too greasy. i also believe that it made my hair a bit healthier. i bought the heavy cream b/c, on the site, it says it's better for my hair type. it's a little too greasy for me, but i hope i grow to love it b/c i gave the sidr tree(since it's for her hair type) to my mother and since i'm broke, i won't be buying another lol. i also like the texture of the sidr tree better.

Okay, I used the Alma and Olive Heavy Cream today on DRY hair and it did sooo much better. I will will not repurchase this one though. I love the OYIN Whipped Pudding so much better. At least I don't have to feel like I wasted my money on the Alma and Olive Cream. I will go ahead and use it.

I ordered this product. I hope I like it because shipping is hella slow.

I sooo agree!
I sent them an email a week after I ordered because I hadn't heard anything, I was sent an email stating it takes 7 - 10 days to prepare the order and then they ship.

Thanks V for the link to curlmart, If I need to order more Qhemet I'll use them.

Same thing happened to me. I ordered 10 days ago and I just got an email from them yesterday saying the order just shipped! :perplexed
I will go through curlmart from now on.

I ordered the Sidr and the Heavy Cream just to test both products out. I have to say for my hair type (3c) the Sidr works better. The Heavy Cream is great as well but I would recommend only using a tiny bit.

Yeah, the turn around time is posted on her website. The good thing is that she doesn't charge anyone until after she ships. Curlmart sometimes has trouble keeping some of her products in stock so if you order from them do it as soon as they stock up because they sell out hella fast.

I use the sidr butter in the summer because its moisturizing but not too heavy. My hair is drier in the winter which is when I use the heavy cream.:)

I have both and this is what I plan to do. I am wearng rollersets the rest of this month and beginning Sept 1st I'm back on my bun challenge for fall and winter. I think I am going to use the Sidr Butter for my straight styles and the Heavy cream when in protecticve styles.
