Its called Dark and Lovely Beauftiful Beginnings Edge Tamer & Protector. I received samples at Black Expo this Summer and I just tried it out yesterday and again today after I washed my hair. It smoothed my edges out really well without greasiness or dullness.

The texture of the product reminds me of Profectiv Break Free and it smells like green apples :lick:. I just purchased the regular sized tube from Target for $3 and some change.

It says: Stops flyaways and reduces breakage along the hairline. For relaxed or natural hair.

Although its in their kids line "Beautiful Beginnings" The "Edge Tamer" wording stood out to me since my edges can be very resistant. The real test will be when its around touch-up time.

Interesting, can you post the ingredients?

It also says this: Perfect Performance Technology contains a blend of coconut oil and milk thistle and leaves hair soft, shiny and healthy-looking every time!

This stuff is a great product...bought it for my daughter, but I find myself using it as well. Also it workes great during touch up time...it laid my hair down smoothly & neatly! :yep:

Thanks for the info :)

I love it too. I been hook on it for about 8 months now but its great for braids esspecially, and buns and things.

I have a tube of this stuff too. I bought mine at Kmart on sale. I like how it tames my edges but it doesn't make them feel hard and crunchy.

To the ladies who are using this and liking it, are any of you 4a/ 4b with 1 1/2 inches of new growth? Garnier Brilliantine worked great for me eup to 2 weeks ago, but I guess I got a spurt because now it's not doing as well :perplexed
