ive been using giovanni products as of late, and I notice that no mater how much I rinse after shampooing, I still see suds while Im conditioning. Is this normal?
Maybe Im using too much conditioner...or too much shampoo???:ohwell:

Ive known some conditioners that sort of "lather"....but nothing like a shampoo lather....

You might want to try rinsing more before you condition.

thanks amber..

Well...its not quite a shampoo lather. Its more of a thick creamy lather (if that makes sense). I feel like Im rinsing forever already and afterwards, there is no sign of shampoo at all. But as soon as I put the conditioner in, here come the suds.

go figure..

Wow... thats... intresting LOL I dont think Ive ever had that happen like that before.... Maybe one day just try putting on the conditioner without the shampoo and see if it lathers up.

Ive never used giovani before so Im not sure.

You did not rinse all the shampoo out. It happen to me one time while conditioning my hair. I was thinking since when did my conditioner started getting sudsey. Rushing

amazing. I have a showerhead that has like 12 settings on it. I put it on the most powerful setting when rinsing my poo out. By the time Im finished, it seems to be all gone. No more suds, no nothing....until I put the conditner in.

So, I guess I may need to cut down on the amount of shampoo Im using cause my hair seems to be holding on to and hiding it away. lol

I use giovanni 50/50 conditioner and it has a very slight sudding effect- especially if you keep working it in. If you live in a soft water area (which I think you do) then it takes a considerably much longer time to effectively rinse out all product than it would with very hard water, although soft water is much better for the condition of the hair. You can try using less shampoo and conditioner.

It may not be your shampoo, some conditioners do lather. Hollywood Beauty Cholesterol does a little for me and I noticed this with my Suave Toasted Vanilla conditioner. I wanted to use it as a final rinse after rinsing my deep conditioner which produced no suds then I applied the Suave and that puppy has lathered up like shampoo, for real. I like to leave some conditioner in, but with that it was a little odd getting the suds so I had to really rinse. Different products do different things I guess.

A couple of my Pureology conditioners lather. It's kinda strange. It's not super sudsy, but it's enough to make it seem kind of soapy. Some conditioners lather like that.
