Another Weekend. I hope you all are staying: Cool, Calm & Collected in all this Heat.

I hope you are keeping those Healthy Heads of Hair Sufficiently Hydrated.

So....What Are YOUR Plans This Weekend to Nurture & Nourish YOUR Hair????
 
going to cowash tonight with hydroquench and on sunday i need to do a protein treatment with my komaza protein strengthener.
 
I think I am going to start tonight. I am going to cowash tonight. My Sprout didn't come with my HH order so I am kinda disappointed. But anxious to use the SCM. It smells so good :lick: Then on Sunday night, I am going to cleanse, DC, with my heatcap using Ouidad Intensive Repair.

ETA: After I cowash, I will be using my Lee Stafford Treatment :grin:

Ha, I was looking for this thread yesterday!

Can't wait to do a henndigo this weekend! I hope it goes well, I'm a bit nervous about the potential mess. :S
 
Did a 2 step henna indigo last week that didn't take we'll in my ends. Currently indigo ing my ends and hoping they don't turn green.....
 
Tonight I am doing a protein DC followed by a moisturizing DC

Sunday coconut oil prepoo and moisturizing DC followed by porosity control
 
I've spent the past 4 weeks cowashing, conditioning with Miss Jessie's, moisturizing with coconut oil and protective styling (bunning and flat twists). I'm having my engagement party this weekend so I'm treating my fiancé to blownout hair. I came home from the Dominican salon and he said "Baby, is that allllll your hairrrrr?" with wide eyes. :yep:
I'll be pin curling at night, continuing my hair vitamins, drinking plenty of fresh water and enjoying my hubby-to-be. :)
 
I'm going to wash, Dc with a mild protein (SD Mocha Infusion) and then do a moisturizing DC with SD Shea What! Deux. Then I'll moisturize and seal with Hairitage Hydration Soft Coconut and Sweet Butter Pomade. Yum.
 
-Prepoo w/ Dabur Vatika Oil
-Shampoo w/ Soft Sheen Carson Breathru Shampoo
-Do a Protein Treatment w/ Spiral Solutions Protein Treatment
-DC w/ Steam using Silk Dream Avocado Pudding on top of Rooibus Tea
-Apply leaves ins: ACV Solution, Claudies Mango Creme Rinse topped w/ the Satin Hair Daily Moisturizer, seal with Montego Bay oil and apply Phyto Phytokeratine Reparative Serum to my ends
-Air dry using the Banding Method and BUN another week through :grin:!
 
I just took out my high bun and put in chunky twists. I'm leaving town in a few hours and plan to wear twist outs all weekend. I have Curl Prep in my bag and califia moisturizing spray.
 
-Poo with shea moisture African black soap
-Tresemme Naturals for 5 min
-Protein treat w/Nubian Heritage hemp & Tamanu masque for 45 min
-Tea rinse
-DC w/shea moisture purification masque overnight
-Air dry to 80%
-Blow dry on cool setting
-9 big Pin curls

Protein treat time!! I'm getting a few breakage strands (less than 5) when I manipulate my hair.
My hair is in twists so I take them down using amazing botanicals aloe mint spritz and mini rake to detangle without friction.

So I'm going to wipe the slate xclean with Vo5 Vanilla Mint Tea Clarifying Shampoo
Then hop out the shower and plop for a few minutes. When my hair is not soaking anymore, apply Claudie's Renew Protein for 1h+ no heat.
Rinse it out then do a moisture DC with Kizuri Cocoa Vanilla for 4+ hrs.
Acv rinse.
Plop using towel and apply Darcys Pumpkinseed and airdry.

Start twisting, detangling each section using the magic mini star and darcys pumpkin under oyin hair dew.

This week I'm going to try incorporating gels/butters that can make the twists neater.
My fav gel for this is going to be the amazing botanicals hibiscus because it does not flake and is soft. I'll bbe using Kizuria olive/shea butter which readily absorbs and doesn't leave my hair greasy.

Phew.
 
I have to prep my hair for the havana twist I'm getting on Saturday so last night I put my amla/brahmi/vatika oil on my scalp sprayed my hair with a little water and then applied my oil mix to my hair as well (in sections) and dry detangled my hair then put each section in twist and put a conditioning cap on last night. I put my twist in a bun today. When I get home I plan to:

Shampoo w/ NuEnz Organic Shampoo
DC with Curl Junkie Repair Me (will be my first time using this)
Follow up with a Moisturizing DC - Bask Cacao Bark
Detangle/Rinse out with Tresemme Naturals condish

I plan to blow dry w/ Aveda Brilliant Damage Control and Aveda USC
 
Prepoo: Castor oil and the rest of my SD RCA sample
Shampoo: Aphogee for damaged hair
F/U shampoo: SD Go moist
Aphogee 2 minute reconstructor
DC with NG chamomile and burdock on top of Claudie tea spritz
HV ph rinse

Leave in: SSI Tahitian spray and seal with HV avosoya oil
 
12 weeks post tomorrow and been in cornrows for the past 2 weeks, and possibly leaving them in until early August. Planning to give my hair some nice treatment this weekend:

Pre-poo with a mix of grapeseed, coconut, castor and vitamin E oils
Shampoo
Deep condition with some things in the stash
Apply leave-in and air dry
Moisturize and seal when completely dry.
 
The usual, overnight prepoo wi grape, deep condition with Narobi Humetca-sil, wash and condition with Joico Moisture Recovery. Blow dry, roller with 4 purple flexi rods. Flat iron roots in the AM, fluff out curls.
 
Gonna go to the salon and get my hair done for the first time in almost two years. Really just wanna cut some dead and damaged ends and from there on, I'm goin hard on my growth journey. No bein lazy and no excuses and for damn sure no setbacks :)
 
Probably on Sunday I will:

Pre poo with coconut oil, cowash with wen coconut mango, then use a leave in conditioner to style my hair into twists.
 
Saturday I'll prepoo with coconut oil overnight. Then I'll shampoo and deep condition on Sunday. I'll probably end up doing a braidout for my buns next week.
 
It is my 10 year anniversary weekend. Plus I go pick up the boys tomorrow from camp. This week I am going to get my hair wash, and set. I need a nice little do. I have a ladies night out tomorrow night, but before I do that we will all go bowling.

I am just going to cover my grey, so they can go away :)
and set it and forget it for about 4 days :)
 
I will be getting a TU on Sunday, will follow up with a light dusting.thinking of also doing a clear rinse as well
I will do a roller set and flat iron to do a length check.:yep:

Decided to postpone my Texturizer until the 9th, so I'm changing up a few products.

-Prepoo with Haiveda Vatika Oil
-Shampoo w/ Soft Sheen Carson Breathru Shampoo
-Do a REconstructive Treatment w/ SheScentIt Fortifying Masque
-DC w/ Steam using Silk Dream Avocado Pudding on top of Rooibus Tea
-Apply leaves ins: ACV Solution, Claudies Mango Creme Rinse topped w/ the Satin Hair Daily Moisturizer, seal with Montego Bay oil and apply Phyto Phytokeratine Reparative Serum to my ends
