have the same exact ingriedients, with just different packaging.

This product is also available in a trial size 1 oz packet for around $1, depending if it's on sale or not, if anyone wants to try before buying a huge tub or bottle. I've be meaning to post this as I noticed this during a previous Sally's excursion. It's kinda odd really. I just wanted someone to save their inner pj from buying both products. Personally I prefer the tub version of the Megasilk so I can get to every last drop of the cream, but to each her own.

You guys are welcome. The messed up thing about it is for weeks I read on LHCF about how great the Megasilk Leave-In creme was, and my Sally's was out of it forever. When it finally came in stock I compared the ingriedients, they seemed awfully familiar with the Revive & Restore lotion, which had been there the whole time while I was pining for the Megasilk. That's when I made my discovery. I can understand Sally's making cheaper dupes of products from other lines, but from their own in-house brand, that's pretty weird.

I noticed this several months ago back when I was using both products. I gave the bottled lotion to my mom and kept the one in the jar. It's crazy how companies try to fool consumers like that....reminds me of Pantene.

The cream is thicker than the lotion right? So one has more water than the other? I wonder what other ingredients are the same but in different in quantities.

I waited for the MegaSilk one also. I don't know why but the lotion just seemed suspect to me. And too expensive.

Yeah the one in the jar is thicker. I buy both. The price per ounce is about the same.
