King of Queens "The Bun" Episode

Hey yall I just finished watching an old episode of King of Queens. The episode where Doug is going to his class reunion and he asks Carrie to take out her bun, so he can show her off.... And she refuses and then she asks his best friend for his opinion and he goes 'It's *** Ugly"... LOL I was cracking up. It just reminded me of how we always choose to wear one to keep our hair long. And to me the bun didn't look half bad either.

and then at the reunion, they had a moment of silence for the librarian that had passed and when they put her pic up...she had a bun!

oh my goodness, that episode is classic!

Yeah that episode had me LMAO! I taught the bun looked cute too, but being that I'm a hair fanatic I may have been biased.

That episode is a classic! I actually thought Carrie's bun was cute also. But, it still made me paranoid about wearing buns for a minute.

I just saw that episode I love "The King of Queens"! Anyway that's crazy that the guys thought buns were so ugly. Doug even compared it to a woman tying her breasts down!! So they obviously associate hair with beauty...men are so dumb. I don't wear buns but I always have my hair up. My boyfriend never told me that my hair looks "*** Ugly" but he prefers my hair down

I saw that episode a while back. I couldn't believe the men thought the bun was so ugly. I thought it was cute. It made me a little mad, though. I kept yelling at the tv, "Carrie should tell Doug to lose some weight!" I just hate it when men expect so much, yet they don't live up to their own standards. If my man was head to toe hot, like The Rock , then "yes" I would take the bun out.

Right after that episode this guy I worked with made a comment to another guy that the worst thing a woman can do is wear her hair in a bun like a librarian. Can't tell you how mad I was because I was wearing a bun that day and I know the comment was directed at me. No, I wasn't imagining it. I know the guy well and I know he was talking about me... the jerk!

Yeah... touched a nerve here!
