Has anyone used this flat iron before? It's the one endorsed by Carmen Electra on the infomercials...any info on its efficiency? Please share

I was wondering about it too! It looks sooo fantastic on the infomercial, doesn't it???

Sadly, one of our members tried it a few months back and said it was garbage. It snagged her hair and didn't straighten all that great. She returned it :(

Thanks Tiffers for the info...yup it looks great on the infomercials! Anyone else had any experience? Bumping for responses.

Thanks ladies! Doesn't seem like the inflated price for this iron is worth it ($150 plus). I'll save my money and get a CHI (or Solia)

I saw Ulta is now carrying it for $99 and I ran to get it. I LOVE IT! I'm a natural 4b and I do blowdry but it's not necessary. The thing that separates this flat iron from all others is that for some reason, my hair does not have that burnt smell after using it. My hair actually smells freshly washed and I can still smell my leave ins in my hair. No other flat iron has accomplished that for me.

The only issue I have is that the material around the sides of the iron are smearing/wearing off due to the high heat. And yeah I go all the way to 410! I don't understand when some of you complain about it not straightening well, and yet you are only using medium to medium-high heat. Hope this helps. PS: I have Maxiglide, Conair Infinity, Sedu (for sale by the way $65), & HAI, so I do have something to compare the Kiyoseki with.

I'm watching this infommercial now. Not interested in buying, but it sure is funny watching how your life can dramatically change from buying a kiyoseki. There's a lady at the beach, one playing pool, and I missed the others, all with this broad grin on their face, all thanks to the kiyoseki :lachen:

I must admit I ordered it and I'm suppose to get it this monday 09.15.08. I'm just a true PJ because i own the Maxiglide, 3 CHI Flat Irons, Solia ( which i just gave away to a friend of mine) and a GHD Flat Iron. I was a true CHI fan, but I like my GHD better. I can't wait to try my new flat iron I got the professional 1 which they said was the silver 1 when u buy it online. I couldn't believe that I saw the Black Kiyoseki Flat Iron in ULTA for $99.00. I'll post my results after I use it.
