okay so I have had my hair in full sew in's (my fav protective style)100% of the time since about February. Dont worry, it hasnt been the same sew-in..but now its coming up to the time where Im going to take it out. I have like a million questions! :perplexed

Ive been on this site since last year. I started with CL hair and created my own regi...well lets just say I must've done something my hair didnt like because I had major breakage:ohwell:...so i cut my hair to TWA...then a few months later I got braids. So the last time I checked my hair was at NL in feb...Im so sure its at CL by now. With all of this said I need a good regi just to start with. (also i havent had a relaxer since january)

ive lurked on here for months and I know everything that a good regi consist of but im afraid to make up my own again quite yet...so can you all please help me with a very effective but simple regi?:yep:

Also...I wanted to do a length check after i take my hair out but I know heat is a big risk....would it affect me if i do it just one time?:look:

oh yeah!!!....right now while my hair is in the sew-in I mosturize everyday and take GNC hair, nail, & skin vitamins...and iron pills...

YAY! there is someone out there that cares!!! lol....I was starting to get a little tired of Bumping. But thanks!!! I just had one concern.....I learned last year from my first reggie that my hair doesnt like to be air dried...I believe that was part of the reason I had so much breakage...is there a way around it?

i think indirect heat "hood drying" is fine! blow dry on cool

My hair only could be airdried in braids or twists not loose at all so you can try air drying w/ braids or blowdry on medium to cool heat.

See last year I use to wash/dc ...moisturize, seal, braid my hair into cornrows and put on a satin scarf and allow it to airdry....I see no harm in any of what I did but however my hair still manage to break off. smh, i just dont know where I went wrong. I even co-washed every other day.

was your hair mushy or hard? It's good to alternate b/w protein & moisturizing dc's. Also what type of leave-in you were using? Protein or moisture, water or oil based?
