LONG/RELAXED vs. LONG/NATURAL

This may come as a surprise but it would have to be long and relaxed. MBL on me would have to be relaxed. BSL is the limit for me with my natural hair but I hate detangling. I absolutely hate it and I could not imagine how much more time it would take to detangle another 6-8 inches of hair. I have no plans to relax so I am staying at a length that is easier for me to maintain.

If I did not have such horrible tangling in the back of my head I was say long and natural MBL.

As long as it was long healthy and relitively easy to mantain I would take either!
I think the only realistic way for me to acheive this would be Texlaxes/Texturized.

i answered natural only because my hair is locked. i would much rather have mid-length loced hair than relaxed hair because i vowed to keep chemicals away from my head. but a few years ago i would have definitely answered relaxed hair!

I would say long and natural I am 18 months into my natural journey and can't wait for my hair to get longer..This is of course my second attempt I was natural for 4 years and relaxed my hair...and decided I wanted to keep it natural so here I go again.

if you are familiar with MTG,

I am using it for the front of my hair to grow it back, but my scalp is starting to get flaky. Is that sulfur buildup? or is that what MTG is suppose to do? kill away bad skin cells to grow hair out?

hmmm...I would say long and natural. Every member I see on here with great hair is either texlaxed or natural or transitioning. Case in point: Natural & Long.

Long and natural. I will never put a relaxer in my hair again ---so its long and natural forever no matter how long my hair is- I'll be complaining when it gets down to the booty but it will be happy complaints. You know what else I thought you go through these great changes when you hair gets long but you dont' I think its because its so gradual and its not a shock to you. Sure its all new but its not a shock to you I ate my hair the other day I was floored. I could not believe that my hair actually got in my mouth. What I was showing my kids hey my hair can get in my mouth - They were like so what. that was a great moment in my natural state. I am not 100% natual I have color but i am cutting it out gradually and unless my hair turns all grey it will remain in its natural state.

All other things being equal...
If you could wake up in the morning
and have MBL hair... would you want it
to be LONG & RELAXED
or LONG & NATURAL (Stretched which means with Shrinkage it could
be as short as SL unstretched).

** Here's the catch...
if you're relaxed you can NEVER go natural
if you're natural you can NEVER get a relaxer

based on the bolded I would have to go with long and relaxed, which is what I am now. I have never had hair shorter than APL and when it was that lenght I HATED it. If I could be MBL and natural unstretched then I'd choose that 100%.

Long and natural. Part of the reason I went natural is so I didnt have to relax on a regular basis. If funds are tight, I can get some cheapy conditioner and cheapy curl activator or twist it and still look cute. I still like the look of healthy relaxed hair, and a lot of times it can seem more polished to me, but I have a lot of options as a natural, I just havent taken the time to explore them yet.

I will take my long natural hair anyday as well.
i can have it super short, in a tight rollerset down to shoulder length natural or nearly waistlength when flat ironed so overall i like how versatile it is and how i can go from one extreame to the other all with the same hair...

it does get annoying sometimes, but i have to remind myself of the good things...

Definitely long and natural - I'm used to natural hair, and assuming it's MBL stretched, it would only be APL (MAYBE BSL) curly, so, yeah.
