Hey Trust. What did you use in your hair? What temp did you have it on and at what speed did you go down on the length of your hair?

This is what I did. After I washed and conditioned, I rollerset and airdried. It took all afternoon to dry, but it came out soft. I then took some hair serum and put on each section I was to flat iron and then I started at the ends first lightly, then I went to the roots and slowly went down the length of my hair. I did that until my entire head was done. It took a little longer than what I'm used to doing, but it was well worth it.

My hair is full, but straight. It was straighter when i first did it, then as time went on, it got fuller, not puffy.

I made sure that I used some serum on the length of my hair after I flatironed too. I smoothed it on really well, making sure to get my ends. I now have it wrapped, but before I wrapped it, I made sure to put some Mizani H2O Nighttime treatment on those ends.

I hope that helps and I hope you do try again at some point and get it straight the way you would like.

Blessings.

Ohh..thanks. Well see I blow dryed..I didn't roller set. That would be super duper hard for me to do. lol. Maybe that is the key.

I used 3 products. Beyond the Zone Straight Shot Balm, IC Fantasia Heat Protectant while blow drying...and Beyond the Zone spray heat protectant when flat ironing. LOL. Yea..I was nervous. I didn't use leave in after I washed out DC.

I went down slowly and used temperature 4-6. I started on 2, but it didnt' seem to have an affect. I will try it again at 2 though next time.

I had to move slowly, because I had tons of tangles especially towards the ends. Alt of knots were snipped or broken off during this process. For some reason my hair wasn't really de-tangled. Eventhough I did it in the shower and out of the shower.

It took a few hours to complete everything because I had to move slowly and I was a heat protectant maniac.

My hair is definitely straight, but just fluffy. I can pull a small comb through it..I can easily put it into very relaxer looking pony tail. But, it isn't hanging down when out. Lol

I guess I should try the roller setting and temperature set at 2. That seems to be the major differences. Well in a month or two I'll give it another shot.

I'm putting satin rollers in it now..to try to get it to curl and look decent for church tomorrow.

I only used one protectant and that was the serum. My hair would look like a wet dog if I put that many serums in my hair.

Not once did my hair smoke or anything...I dunno, maybe 2 is good for me, but like I said, I could go up one (3) and still get away with it, but I won't.

I hope it works out for you.

All the best!

It turned out really nice NW!!! Great job!

If you feel like you could go up another setting you should try it. You may get even better results. I never go past the first setting because I can get the results I want with that but if you need to go up you should.....just be careful.

You got me wanting to break out my flat iron, lol.

Here are my results of using the Maxiglide MP. I like the way my hair came out. I will be keeping my Maxiglide...I really, really like it!

FABULOUS HONEY!!!!:yep:

WOW N&W your hair came out fabulous!!!

not sure what you mean about the back not being as straight as you wanted it cause it looks perfect to me.

i don't go for an absolute straight and i keep mine real low (on 1 or 1.5) although could prolly go to 2 or 3 but i just think it'd be overkill, really.

Be confident, you did a wonderful job and your hair is bling'in!!

Thanks to you....:kiss::urock:

I appreciate so much your input and direction on how to use it. It worked just like you said!

I think I'll leave it on 2, because now that its the next day, it looks just as good as it did last night, so 2 did the job!

Thanks, LynnB. I couldn't get to the back the way I wanted too because I can't lift my right shoulder up (problem) so it was really hard to go slow and straighten it like the sides and front. It looks better today, though...so I guess you are right.

I first went to 1 and realized it wasn't doing the job...my hair just stayed kinda puffy. Then, when I went to 2...totally changed and it didn't get it straight, straight...it was just right.

I appreciate you and I will take what you said about being confident...you are right.

Blessings, always!

JUST BEAUTIFUL. It really got straight. Do you color your hair? It's so black and shiney.

Why are you covering up your beautiful face?

I was thinking the same thing:nono:

Me likey your results...it looks so nice and smooth

Well I used my Maxiglide MP yesterday - so I like the results - I have to get use to it though - not tighting up on it just glide as it states. I had mine set on 2 which did me fine I'm relaxed and highlighted. But I'm scared of the teeth - I had a few strands in there - next time I'll try with just the flat plate. I pre-pooed, washed, dc - then applied leave-in - keracare silken seal on wet hair - roller set - under Pibbs for 1 hour - then I applied Fantasia IC heat potectant to each section. I did have trouble with the back - because of the length - but over all i achieved a fairly straight look - sorry I was too tired to photograph - I applied keracare head dress creme to my ends, wrapped and called it a night. I'm have 11 weeks post right now. I forgot in all the excite in using it - I forgot to add the water for the steam :perplexed.

Very pretty N&W. I can tell it has body too. Straight or Curly, its awesome :yay: :happydance:

BTW....Your skin  Talk about a creamy complexion

Thanks, D. No, no color. Last time I did something, I put a Colorshine in and that was last Spring...and it was a light color. My natural color is actually more of in the brown/red family.

Ummm.....I'm still not ready to show e'rbody what I look like. :lachen:Only a select few get to see that....hehe.

Thanks, gymfreak! It has alot of body. I rollerset it first and airdryed....It came out so nice. I've never done an airdry set before...I will be doing this from now on.

Awww....thanks. I try to work hard on my skin...I'm 44 and have to take much better care of my skin now....:yep:

Yes there is. The MP is the newsest Maxiglide that is smaller (not as wide) as the original one. It has the steam action too. It came with a smaller one (about a 1/2 inch wide) for curls and flips.
Yea!!!!!! Do you have a link or are the selling it also at Linen n Things like the other one.
