I think she and her hair look great. I have followed her from the High School Musical movies because I have daughters who watch and love the movies. I noticed she wore wigs a lot and thought she might be growing out her natural hair. I am really proud of her. I hope she gets more postive feeback than negative and continues to wear her natural hair. I think she looks really pretty.

It BURNS me up! that some Black people are soo, ignorant, and stupid about their own hair! I think she looks beautiful! It's horrible that the brain washing of our race still has such an affect on how we view our own standards of beauty! Many of the people who left those terrible comments need to emancipate their minds! How could a bulky weave be more natural than her own hair? Sorry! I usually try to stay positive but, I vented a little! Hope I didn't affend anyone.. But, I do wish I can encourage her to stay proud of her roots And, use a lil moisturizer, it looks kind of dry.. but still beautiful none the less!

People CONSTANTLY say this in school when I talk about my transition and some of my fellow classmates that are natural...... It irks me when people say this....

I hear this alot. It doesn't bother me because I think they see it as a styling option. Not everyone looks good with a big afro or a twa. I could never pull off a twa because I have a bald spot in the back on my hear(blame my mama). I think people that say that genuinely feel they would look good with their natural hair, maybe they wouldn't, maybe they would, sometimes I just wish folks would give their natural hair a chance and then decide.

I just wanted to share something that stirred my spirit just now.....some young actress decided to "take out her weave" and wear her natural hair.....and some of the comments people left were so damn ignorant...like "not everyone can pull off the natural look", "we're the hot comb" ??????erplexed if that's the way it grows out of her head how can she not pull it off.....lmao....so ignorant
