Metal rattail comb

I have been using a metal rat tail comb for parting my hair when twisting or cornrowing but I havent anything good or bad about them. What do you ladies think? I already did a search for them and came up with nothing.

I have a metal rat tail comb I use it to part my hair (not comb), but I have also used it to scratch my scalp when wearing a weave. It gets into the tightest of places!

I don't see it being a problem, whereas plastic can have groves and snag the hair strands.
