Yesterday I put on my baggie. I was irritated with my boyfriend at the time, and wasn't paying attention. Anyway, I put some Hot Six Oil and S-curl in my baggie and went on about my day. Apparently I put too much in the baggie because I was at my desk and I reached back and grabbed my neck and my hands slipped. I looked at my hands and they were COATED in oil! I was so embarrassed because I had just got off the elevator and I was in the front of a bunch of white people....so you KNOW they were like, look at that gheri curl juice dripping down her neck. So anyway I went to the bathroom and wiped my neck. About ten minutes later (mind you it's early in the morning) I get off the phone and it is COATED with Hot Six Oil. So I'm like wiping the phone off and looking around to see if anyone is watching me. Anyway, I touch my ears and they are just DRIPPING!!! I wanted to die. I had my brand new hot pink shirt on and now it has oil stains all down the back and there was nothing I could do. This went on for the rest of the day. I ran back and forth to the restroom to blot the hell out of my hair. The receptionist kept looking at me like I was crazy. So anywho, my girlfriend came to the office for lunch so that I could see her wedding planner. When she was leaving, she gave me a hug and I looked at her cheek and guess what I saw?! You guessed it Hot Six Oil shining all over her right cheek. So I wiped her face. She was like was something on my face? I was like, "yeah, I got it off." I didn’t have the balls to tell her I done greased her face up. I could not wait to get off work yesterday. Oh and the ride home in the hot sun didn't help either. I just put one of my sons clean spit rags around my neck. As soon as I got home I just slapped an Olive Oil Pak on my head for a couple of hours. Shoot, all that grease I had in my head, I really should have just washed it. Anyway, there's my laugh of the day. So go on...laugh at me, I ain't mad at cha!

Aw,sorry to hear...

i imagine you felt very agitated and uncomfortable.....

reminds me of my first few weeks of MTG'ing....

follow the drip:lachen:

Girl, girl, girl!!! I am so sorry this happened to you. I don't know if I could have stayed at work all day like that. I'm so lucky I wasn't sipping on a drink while reading this....you got my cracking up over here:) That was too funny.

Aww! That is awful! and the thing that I hate is that you never actually feel it running down your neck, I am glad that you are better now!

Knowing me, I would have taken a break, ran to the nearest bss, drug store, etc., went back to work and to the bathroom and washed it out of my hair (just the ponytail). You are good girl...lasting all day with the drip. Bless your heart!

Girl you better use some of that grease to oil up some of the body parts that you may have missed when you got out the shower!! Waste not, want not!

See, I work near Buckhead in Atlanta, there are no black BSS in the area that I could have gotten to quickly. You better believe this morning I paid attention to what I was doing. No drips for me today.

Oh yeah and to add insult to injury, I still had the grease on my fingers when I was at my desk. So one of the Project Managers brought me something that needed to go out, I grabbed it and my big old greasy fingerprints were all over the dark blue cover. I tried to wipe it off and just smudged the hell out of it. :ohwell:

There is a beauty Supply store off of Sydney Marcus (where the marshalls, sallys, Ross, Etc are located). I am not sure how close it is to you, depending on where you are in Buckhead, but it may help for future reference. Hilarious post!

Funny you should say that. I'm on my way out there now. It's not close to where I'm at (17th Street overpass), but it's not too far either. I will definitely keep this in mind for any other incidents. Hopefully this will never happen to me again. We live and we learn.

Mybe you could try wearing the baggie MTG at night until you get used to the amount, BTW you only need a little bit at a time to work.

Oh no girl. I do NOT use the MTG. :nono: That story was even worse than this one. I've been doing the baggie methods for quite a few months now. I was just irritated at the time I filled the bag. I looked at the bottle last night and i could not believe how much I had used. It was at least 2 tablespoon fulls. :lachen:
