My BT Came Yesterday...

Okay, so my BT (Boundless Tresses) came in the mail yesterday!! I was so excited because I'd read so many nice things about it. I grabbed it out of the box and brushed off stray peanuts, untwisted the top, smelled it... ummm, pretty nice (I got the fragranced one), It was solid (cuz it's cold) so I touched it to feel it and put that little dab in my hair (don't wanna waste a drop LOL). So then, I began to read the back, interesting.... until I get to this line and I'm paraphrasing "do not use 7 day prior to a relaxer* I'm like darn, that sux!! I wanted to use my stuff tonight! Alas, I have to wait until after 2/1/08.

Since I can't try it yet, I wanna live vicariously (did I spell that right? LOL) through you ladies. Could you please share your experiences with it? Tell of the growth you've seen, how your hair it better for using it... you know, tell me your experience with it. I also welcome progress pics to be posted too. TIA

How does BT compare to Wild Growth Hair Oil? I didn't know what BT stood for until a couple days ago when there was post about it and a link. I have WGHO and having been using that - but it smells.

I couldn't stand the smell of WGHO, so I threw mine away. Although I haven't used it yet, I can say that the BT smells WAAAAYYYYY better than the WGO. I'm not sure how the original BT smells, but the one with the fragrance smells pretty good. Take it from a person who absolutely cannot stand to have any stinky stuff in her hair LOL. Stinky stuff sux!!

I didn't use it long enough to see results because it stunk. I used it like 2 days and had to chuck it.

Ok - well I'll let you know ... it's too expensive for me to trash ... the smell fades away after about a day

I wish I had pictures, but I will have some going forward.

I have used BT since mid November and I have seen crazy growth, probably about 1 1/2 to 2 inches. Like others have said it keeps my new growth super soft and helps alleviate my itchy scalp.

I apply it once a day. I have the scented version and it smells great, but to stay on the safe side I apply it at night, so that it doesn't have any odor when I am work.

A little does really go along way, so less is more. I put it in my fingers and then massage my scalp...I tried to use it straight from the bottle, however that was a mess for me.

Even thought I didn't do it, I recommend taking pictures along your BT journey so you can really see the growth.
