This is my first rollerset as a natural. I was sooo surprised that my ends were STRAIGHT!! I thought my hair would be too coarse but I guess not. I did have to straighten the roots. I used Aphogee leave-in, Aphogee keratin spray, NTM silk touch leave-in, and Proclaim's 7 oil mix. Sat under the dryer on medium heat for 1.5 hrs then flatironed the roots. To maintain it, at night I use a little bit of the proclaim oil and re-roll. I'm used to sleeping in hard rollers from when I was relaxed so it doesn't bother me. (don't mind the oily face lol)

Oh, wow.
That looks good.
And you are pretty.
Flawless skin and pretty eyes.
Your hair looks so bouncy and soft.

I wanna try. My hair dryer is not equipped to manage this mane of mine, though.
Salonrus, here I come!

Awwww thank you so much!!!! I have a regular table top Ion dryer so I was pretty amazed! Also, I'm almost 100% sure that I am a 4b maybe 4a, so again I was really shocked that it turned out so bouncy! Thanks again!!!

Thanks you guys!! Had I known that it would came out so straight I would have tried a while ago because those ssk's were given me trouble.

Great job - you look wonderful. I'm now in love with rollersetting too but I only use the perm rods for now.

girl, that turned out so cute!!! and you are so pretty.
i love how you styled it with the sleek edges/slight baby hair-sooo cute :)

@ MA2010: THANKS!!! I just add a little bit of oil and roll it again with magnetic rollers before I go to bed. It takes me about 20 mins because I also fingercomb to get rid of shed hair.

@Stepiphanie: Thank you!!

@Rocky91: Awww thanks!!! Girl I love my "baby hairs"!! lol I know some ppl don't like them but I do!!! Hahaha!

@LadyPBC: Thank you!!! I was going to try perm rods but I've never tried them on my hair before just for kinky twists. I wasn't sure how it'd turn out! I may try them next time! Do you have to use end papers??

Looking good, mamacita!:yep: I'm taking notes. I can't even get a style to last 11 days on my relaxed hair! :nono: I'm learning something new every day!

Thanks so much you guys!! I really appreciate it!!!

Thanks!! It could have lasted longer but I wanted to wash and deep condition. I think not using a lot of product and the rollers made it last so long.

Looks good and I love your eyebrows!!

Thank you!!! I'm just now getting good with doing my eyebrows, so I really appreciate it!!! Thanks!

So cute & it lasted 11 days! You are beautiful, too. Perfect skin and pretty eyes. :gorgeous:

Awwwwww thank you!!! :-)

11 days?

wow that style looks uber cute.

Thank you!! If it wasn't for my paranoia of dirty scalp slowing growth I would have went longer!! lol

I love it.

I haven't tried rollersetting yet, but definitely plan to.

Yours look beautiful gurl... well done!

Thank you!! I'd definitely try it esp for the fall and winter!!
