Wow, you're an awesome stretcher miss.....what was your reggie during the stretch period?
Also, your sides look fine to em, I'd do as someone else mentioned earlier and do a corrective 'laxer in about 8 weeks--that is...if you're going for the straight look.

Hi D.Lisha for stretching so long washing ever weeks helped me BIG TIME (I love it) there is a BIG difference if I missed a wash week - less manageable and less light and roots was dry even though I moisturized. I also always detangle first using NTM (got that tip on here) and then pre-poo the night before or a couple of days before I wash using fingers then detangler comb.

My Weekly Wash Regimen(majority of the times)
Prepoo (Castor Oil, EVCOO, Grapeseed Oil, Omega Oil, Alma oil) (night b4)
Shampoo (when required) - Curls Clarifier, Nexxus Pro-mend Shampoo (love this stuff so much slip from shampooing)
Co-Wash - Sauve Coconut conditioner
Protein Treatment VO5 Protein Cream Treatment (love this stuff) or Aphogee 2 min (Steaming/heating cap - 15 to 30 mins)
DC - Aveda Damage Remedy with oil mix - Prepoo mix, with Alma and Rice Brand Oil (use to use Cholesterol but I think it makes my skin itchy so I stopped using) (Steaming cap - at least 60 mins)
PC and ACV (near the end I ended up just using PC, liked how my hair felt silky b4 added the ACV)

Used a shower comb throughout the rinse process. Always washed in 4 braids secure with clips.
Leave-ins - NTM (near the end was using Beemine luscious leavin since I couldn't repurchase my NTM), Aphogee protein and Kertain leave-ins, Infusion 23 and Silk Infusion. I manage to find NTM at well.ca so I am back in business.

Styling
Winter and for 4th/5th into a stretch - blow dry on cool and flat iron on 2nd lowest temp 315F or just blow dry. Sometimes I would rollerset.
Summer - will air dry - may or maybe not flat iron again only on low temp.

Daily leave-ins: 2x Day -
NTM (or Beemine) and seal with light oil mixture or Alma oil. For the ends nightly put on John Freda's Overnight serum and then some more oil to seal. This is step done after moisturizing.

I always bag my ends up at night and silk wrap it and sleep on a satin pillowcase.

During the day I had my hair up hiding my ends using a goody clip.

When needed I added some hemp seed oil to my hair lengths.
I want to try and incorporate SAA into my regimen - something I am going to work on.

Thanks about my sides comments. I will see if I really need to correct them. Won't take action until the wk 8 post as you and others suggested.

completing a loooong stretch is soooooooo rewarding! your hair looks nice. thanks for posting your results. :)
