My Mizani relaxer is 1 year old. Do I need to buy another tub?

I need a quick answer to this question.

(Tried to perform a Search but no luck with that.)

I'm relaxing this weekend and have a Mizani Butter Blends Lye Relaxer for Fine and Color Treated Hair.

I did not store the tub in the refrigerator, only in my closet.

Do I need to buy another tub? That stuff is expensive.

I say "no" but that's because I will be in the same boat in another 9 months. I am going to use it until it's done. Some people say relaxer goes bad but I've never seen it. HTHs!

I agree nycutiepie. I've never heard of relaxer expiring...I've got a big tub of Elasta QP that's going to take at least a year to get through...I don't know, I'm not too worried about it.

I think the only relaxers that go bad are the no-lye relaxers that have to be mixed in with a liquid applicator...

Yep. That's exactly what I said. So no worries. As long as you stored it with the lid on tight you are good to go for a while! Happy relaxing!
