purchased some vitamin e oil, castor oi, mixed it w/ sulfur, added a few drops of rosemary and peppermint and voila!!!! there you have it!!!!.......I'm going to try the neosporin on my beat-up hairline along w/ castor oil and I'll let you know if a few months what happened.

I made this exact same mix when I had my senagalese twist and applied this to my temples. I was trying to imitate Dr. Mirracles growth oil. I only did it for about 2-3 weeks. I did enjoy the tingleling sensation. Can't say if it worked or not, but my edges are still there. Oh Yeah, I also added some surge to the mix as well.

Neosporin AF cream works! I noticed after 2 weeks and I continue to see progress weekly. It's nice because it melts right in and does not stink.

It's Neosporin AF, actually. The active ingrediant is similar to the one in Nizoral, which some use for hair growth. You can use any of those creams really, Lamisil AF is one. I just like Neosporin AF because it melt quickly after I apply it and does not leave build up.

I am using it to give my hair growth a boost and it is working very well.

I have a pic of my hair 2 weeks post touchup after I started using the cream on my scalp daily.

I started using it just in one sopt that is much shorter than the rest of my hair. It grew so fast that I am not using it all over. I noticed about a week later.

I just can't do MTG or anything that smells bad.

It's not "for" growth. Actually I did lots of research on this after my hair grew so fast.

It treats dandruff, athlete's foot, etc. "excessive hair growth" is a side effect.

But, it seems that many of the products that treat conditions like this cause hair growth. Look at Sulfur 8, Glover's, MTG, etc.

You're talking about the anti-fungal cremes used for athletes foot? How did you know to use this on your scalp for hair growth?

I heard about it, but no one wanted to try it or was ashamed to say they tried it.

If others can walk around smelling like MTG, then why is trying this so bad, I thought. So I did lots of research online and then decided that this cream has the active ingredient that I had heard so much about. I heard about it on several hair boards, but the last straw was when a older lady that lives next to me shocked me after her hair grew very fast after she got a cute short hair cut. She told me that she used a cream called Trivase by Elta. It has the same ingredient, so I knew I had to give it a try. Her cream is too thick for me, though, but she shampoo's her hair every night so she can get away with it.

Sorry to hijack your thread, nychaelasymone!! Your concoction sounds good. Lots of people have shared there great progress using similar mixtures. You have to keep us posted on your progress!

It is in a tube just like the regular Neosporin. It is normally with first aid or foot care products. Walmart has the best price i've seen.
