What is your next big hair experiment? Trying a new color? Or a new cut? Changing up your regimen? Adding or removing a product from your regimen? Doing a BC? Experimenting with Natural remidies?

Whatever you intend on doing soon or are already in the process of doing?

Last night i did a yogurt and egg and honey treatment. my hair loved it!

Next year wearing my hair straighter (with a light blow dry) and doing a henna/indigo treatment....

I want me sum braids its gradually getting cold outside and my hair needs some no manuplation a rest from hot tools,
of course i had a bad set back i wanna say its tha henna

When I make APL. I am definitely treating myself to color!!! Brown to be exact with some highlights.... :lick::grin::look:

Ive been trying to experiment with Tea rinses, to see what all the hype is about. I have alot of shedding in the front and want to see if it helps at all. SOOOOO..... Ive incorporated green tea into my BANGIN spray Leave-in, and a Black Tea rinse on wash day!

I'm gonna be enjoying my hair more. Doing braidouts inpired by Traycee, cowashing, trimming less, stopping my frequent trips to the salon in exchange for learning to be a DIY'er  and last but not least, making my final goal of MBL in 2010.

Putting together a new softening treatment based on one of my (beloved) reader's comments. Hopefully, it will work.

I would def like to try some Ayurvedic mixes and some tea rinses

I want to try Dr Bronner castile soap b/c I don't want to use any more shampoo.

I want to try a rinse/cellophane color for some shine

I really wanted to try BKT but after reading some posts I am not sure that I want to mess with the progress that I made. So I will just think about that some more.

I want to try a different protein treatment/conditioner. I have been searching the board for protein recommendations, but nothing has really caught my eye...(other than the HSH Pumpkin Puree)

I would also like to sample the Qhemet line more

When my hair gets about 3 inches longer I will start doing twist/ braid outs

I want to experiment with coffee/black tea/caffeine rinses and in my shampoos for a few months to see if there will be any difference in the speed of growth and thickness. I want to make my ayurveda rinses using coffee instead of water as well. I'd better start stocking up on some brewed coffee:look:.

Thanks for starting this thread! I've got a lot that I want to try -

Straightening - I just ordered a few cheap ceramic flat irons and the thermal spray by Nioxin recommended in the Salon Cabelo videos - not to mention the SMB and Design Essentials stuff I have bought for straightening but haven't tried

Ayurveda - I want a box of every hesh powder from ayurnatural. I love henna and would love to be a 100% natural/homemade/ayurveda product user.

Gelatin - I was researching making a gel with this when I ran across a mask that celebrities use so I have a couple of ways I want to try to use it

Apple sauce - I used this in my henna recently and loved it. Then I was lurking at LHC and saw a thread where someone used Alka seltzer as a hair treatment. The ingredients in alka seltzer are aspirin, baking soda, and citric acid. I have the other ingredients but the only thing that has citric acid is apple sauce so I want to try that mix.

Cetaphil - I don't use sulfates but I have heard this gives amazing slip so I want to give it a try at least once.

Corn rowing/flat twisting - I am determined to learn how to do this to myself ASAP. I am missing out on too many cute styles because I can't do this!

That's alot of plans, hope it's all successful.

I'm so excited!! I got my hair steamer yesterday. My next big experiment is dying my hair jet black using the steamer. I will experiment with Argan Oil by adding it to my dye, then applying it to my hair and getting under the steamer. I will follow up my color with a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Can't wait to try this!!!

I just tried braiding my own hair (a success!), but next on my list is giving myself a trim/dusting.

I'm going to need one once I take these braids down in December and I've never been able to find a stylist that will do it without being scissor happy or wanting to relax first.

I want to try a rinse that will give me a burgandy tint. Not sure what color to choose though but that probably wont be for another six months.
